How a projection is made

Three steps, in this order, for every fixture. The order matters: what goes in decides what can come out.

Results, line-ups and availability, minutes played, days of rest, home and away splits, head-to-head, competition weight. Public data, refreshed through the day.

The match is played ten thousand times

The simulation keeps what is known fixed and varies what is uncertain. Each run ends in a scoreline, and ten thousand runs end in ten thousand scorelines.

You read the distribution

What came out most often becomes the probability on the screen — with the count that produced it, so the number can be checked instead of believed.

What goes into the model

Written out, because a number you cannot interrogate is a number you should not trust. The full methodology is inside the app, on its own page.

What exactly am I buying?
Access to the Lexus app: the projections published for each fixture, live scores, match statistics, the published history, the Lexus Room simulator and the methodology page. It is a digital product — there is nothing to ship.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Lexus runs in the browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. You can add it to your home screen if you want it to open like an app.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a single payment, with no renewal and nothing to cancel. Your access stays open for 12 months from the purchase.
How accurate is it?
The published history is inside the app and shows every projection against what actually happened. We do not print an accuracy figure on this page, because a single number would say less than the record itself.
Which competitions do you cover?
The main European leagues and cups, the South American competitions and the national cups listed above. Coverage grows; nothing already covered is dropped.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. 14 days for consumers in the European Union and 60 days outside it, counted from the payment. Write to contato@ruyter.com and it is returned.
How do I stop receiving your e-mails?
