1. A projection is a probability
Lexus simulates a football match many times and publishes how often each outcome came out. That is a description of what is more likely — never a statement of what will happen. A match played once does not repeat ten thousand times, and the outcome that was less likely is exactly as real as the one that was more likely.
2. No guarantee
No projection published by Lexus is a guarantee of anything. An outcome given a 74% chance is expected to be wrong roughly one time in four, and that is the number working correctly, not failing.
Accuracy in the published history describes what already happened. It does not predict what will happen next, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise of future accuracy.
3. Not advice
Lexus is an information product. Nothing it publishes is financial, investment, legal or professional advice of any kind. Lexus does not manage money on anyone's behalf, does not recommend any course of action, and accepts no responsibility for decisions taken by the reader.
4. Independence
Lexus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any league, club, federation, competition or data provider named on this site. Their names appear only to identify the fixtures covered, and remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Data from elsewhere
The model reads public football data. That data can be late, incomplete or wrong at source — a line-up published and then changed, a statistic corrected after the match. When the input moves, the projection moves with it.
